| Description | The Worcester of Christchurch is a magnificently restored heritage home in the heart of Christchurch. Built in 1893, for the Chief Constable of Lyttelton, it is situated in Worcester Boulevard, opposite the Christchurch Arts Centre, Botanic Gardens, museum and art gallery. Outside you can watch the antique trams, of a similar vintage, doing the circuit of the inner city, or maybe board one just across the road. Award winning restaurants, bars and cafes are also only 5 minutes walk away. The Worcester itself is furnished in classic Victorian style, complete with a superb collection of fine art and antiques. Maree and Tony are well known art collectors within Christchurch. If you have some time in Christchurch, Tony is also available to privately escort guests around the Canterbury region, as he runs his own short tour business. |
