| Built in 1886, Sennen House is a recognised Historic Places Trust residence whose grounds and bush are protected under the Queen Elizabeth II National Trust, and has been lovingly restored to its past grandeur by its English owners, Imogen and Richard. Set on an elevated site five minutes walk from Picton, the 3 upstairs apartments and 2 ground floor suites afford views of Picton, the grounds and the surrounding hills & bush. With its semi-rural setting, the 3 pet sheep (a favourite with guests) have been enlisted to keep on top of the lawn-mowing duties, while the 2 cats oversee the smooth running of the house! Bountiful breakfast hampers are provided so guests can prepare breakfast at their leisure. Sennen House is the ideal place to base yourself for exploring the Marlborough Sounds and wineries.
