| Description | Situated just a 10 minute walk from the Wanaka town centre, Minaret Lodge is a peaceful haven offering a backdrop of mountain scenery and set in landscaped grounds. The guest room chalets, located behind the lodge, are constructed using local timbers and non toxic materials, incorporating modern New Zealand furnishings. Each room has fine furniture, local art, private ensuite, and a verandah. Also on the grounds are a sauna and spa, as well as the opportunity to enjoy a game of tennis or petanque. At the end of the day you can choose to unwind by the log fire in the lounge enjoying your complimentary aperitifs. The Lodge also has NZ's only Lord of the Rings themed accommodation -"Barlimans". |

Additional information
A three-course dinner featuring local cuisine and wine is available at a cost of $80.00pp (Jan 04 - Apr 05), $85.00 (May 05- Sep 05), and $95.00pp (Oct 05 - Sep 06). During the dates 24 Dec - 2 Jan 04/05 & 05/06, and 12 -17 April 06 there is a 3 night minimum stay applies.
