Auckland Activities
The beauty of Auckland is that many land based activities and attractions can be found within half an hour of downtown Auckland. Land activities include 4WD Adventure, abseiling, bungy, canyoning, biking, golf, horse treks, walking and trekking and of course, sightseeing. If you are after something more sedate, other Auckland activities include visiting gardens, arts and crafts, cultural attractions such as galleries and museums and performing arts and heritage attractions. Auckland is surrounded by two harbours making it the perfect location to enjoy water based activities such as boat tours and cruises, canoeing and kayaking, diving, fishing, sailing, surfing and windsurfing.
