Experience New Zealand Travel & Tours Booking Conditions
The following conditions apply to all bookings made on your behalf by 'Experience New Zealand Travel Ltd' (ENZTL):
A deposit of 25% of the total cost of your booking, subject to a minimum of NZ$100, is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable 42 days prior to the first day of your New Zealand itinerary. If a booking is made within 42 days of the first day of your New Zealand itinerary, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Cancellations Charges
If you have to cancel all or part of your holiday for any reason, the following cancellation fees are applicable for the amount cancelled: more than 30 days prior to your arrival in New Zealand, 25%; 8-30 days prior to your arrival, 40%; 7 days or less, 100%.
Important note: Experience New Zealand Travel recommends that you obtain personal travel insurance to cover any cancellation of part or all of your holiday. If you need a quote for this, please click here.
- Damage Deposit
Where a deposit against damage or breakage is required, this is payable to the owner/operator or their agent on arrival at the particular property. A receipt should be given to you by the owner/operator or their agent.
- ENZTL Responsibilities
ENZTL operate the experiencenz.com web site as agents for the owner/operators identified in the web site. Whilst we have visited (and do visit on a regular basis) all of the properties on the web site, we are not responsible for the individual properties. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by any failure or improper performance by any of the owner/operators. However, in the event that a owner/operator cannot provide you with contracted accommodation, we will use our best endeavours to provide you with alternative accommodation, but otherwise we shall have no liability to you.
- Personal Liability
ENZTL are not liable for any injury, damage or loss to persons or goods whatsoever and howsoever the same may be caused.
- Cancellation of Booking by ENZTL
We reserve the right to provide you with alternative accommodation or to cancel certain accommodation, where circumstances beyond our control arise. In the latter case, any sum paid by you will be refunded, but otherwise we accept no further liability.
- Your Booking Obligations
Your confirmed booking constitutes a legal contract between you and the owner/operator of the individual property which requires you to pay for the reserved accommodation in the event of curtailment of your holiday.
- Problems and Complaints
The legal agreement in respect of your booking is between you and the owner/operator. ENZTL cannot accept responsibility for failure by either party to observe any rental agreement. Any problems or complaints should first be discussed between you and the owner/operator. ENZTL carefully monitors standards of the accommodation suppliers on the experiencenz.com web site and investigates all complaints. We would like to hear of any problems that you experienced on your holiday so that we can endeavour to ensure they are not repeated. The responsibility rests with the owner of the individual properties to maintain standards up to the level required by ENZTL at the time of the last ENZTL inspection. ENZTL cannot accept responsibility for any owner who fails to maintain the standards of their property.
- Errors and Omissions
While every care has been taken to ensure accuracy in the experiencenz.com web site, and its compliance with the consumer protection laws of New Zealand, ENZTL cannot accept responsibility for errors or omissions in material supplied for the web site. However, where such errors or omissions are brought to our attention they will be amended or corrected as soon as practically possible.
