Cruise Description
| The second largest of the 14 fiords in the Fiordland National Park; magnificent and mysterious Doubtful Sound is an area of rugged mountains, rare wildlife and stunning wilderness. Begin your experience of the area with a cruise of Lake Manapouri before travelling over Wilmot Pass by coach, with stunning views of Doubtful Sounds below. You will instantly feel comfortable onboard the Fiordland Navigator as you explore hidden waterways. Bottlenose dolphins and fur seals are regularly seen and if you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of the rare Fiordland Crested Penguin. In the afternoon, get out there and explore the area yourself onboard a kayak or in our tender craft, utilising the knowledge of our nature guides. |

Accommodation and Dining
The Fiordland Navigator is a traditional style vessel carrying a maximum of 70 passengers and offering private twin or double cabins with ensuite. Relax at the end of the day in the saloon before enjoying a delicious three-course buffet dinner prepared by the onboard chef.
Important Information
Cruises depart daily at approximately 12 noon from Manapouri and return at the same time the following day. All guests should pack a small overnight bag as there is no storage for large suitcases onboard. We recommend you take a pair of non-slip shoes or boots, waterproof jacket, change of clothes, warm jacket, sunscreen and sunglasses, swimwear, insect repellant and a camera.
