Cruise Description
| A cruise on the iconic vintage steamship, TSS Earnslaw, is like stepping back in time! Launched in 1912, the TSS Earnslaw is believed to be the only coal-fired passenger carrying vessel operating in the southern hemisphere. This grand vessel makes several trips daily across the spectacular Lake Wakatipu, offering passengers amazing views of the alpine scenery along with time to explore the steamship itself. Combine your cruise with a visit to the Walter Peak High Country farm on the western shores of the lake. From the lakeside terrace you will enjoy a barbeque lunch cooked by the chef, featuring seafood, meat and vegetarian options. After lunch, there is plenty of time to view the farm animals, join a walking tour of the farmyard and explore the extensive lakeside gardens. |

Other Information
Cruises depart Queenstown daily however from late May to early July travel to Walter Peak will be via a launch, contact us for information about this and also for departure times. We recommend you take a pair of non-slip shoes or boots, waterproof jacket, warm jacket, sunscreen and sunglasses and a camera.
