| Description | Braemar on Parliament Street is a magnificent example of an Edwardian house lovingly restored. This Auckland accommodation is located in the commercial centre of the city, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but close enough for easy access to its shops and restaurants. John and Susan truly enjoy exchanging stories with their guests and have created the perfect setting to do just that. There is a private library and large living rooms to relax in; the bedrooms continuing this atmosphere, with quality, comfortable furnishings and each bathroom featuring a large cast iron bath. Spacious and elegant, warm in winter and cool in summer, Braemar on Parliament Street is the perfect base for any Auckland visit. |

Guest book comments
"The charm and inviting appearance that excited us as we drove up continued inside your wonderful bed and breakfast. You set such a great tone for our New Zealand adventure. You should be given an official title of ambassadors."Sandy and Gerard, USA
"This has been the best bed and breakfast stay I have ever had - and it has only been one night! Thanks so much for your hospitality and sound advice re places to go. I like your sensibility and good humour. The chocolate cake was extra special. If only we were as civilized - a lot to be learned here."
Lisi, USA
"We are surprised to find ourselves living in this lovely, warm house and realize that breakfast is not just breakfast; there is something more in it; art, beauty and understanding. This little heaven will be our sweetest memory when we look at our visit to Auckland."
Kai and Cathy, Taiwan
