| Description | From the moment you step through the four metre high entrance way you can not help but be impressed by the unique contemporary European style that Phil and Kathryne have created at Antria. From the Greek-style recesses and archways, to the French doors from every room opening to the timber-ceiling verandahs with views of the fountain and mountains beyond. Awake to a leisurely breakfast or brunch at the hand-painted stone Italian tables. The 2 guest rooms are set in a separate wing, joined to the house by the guest lounge, huge cooks kitchen and patio, allowing privacy or the chance to interact with the hosts. The rooms feature high quality fabrics and fittings that were specifically sourced for the bedrooms and ensuites. Original New Zealand art features through-out the lodge in conjunction with the vibrantly painted rooms which are art works in themselves. |
