Wellington

Situated at the base of the North Island, the capital of New Zealand is surrounded by rolling green hillsides, beautiful blue water and a picturesque harbour. The only port for ferry travel to the South Island, this is a very compact city which is appealingly easy to travel around - just strolling from your Wellington accommodation to the funky cafes, gourmet restaurants and boutique fashion is the best way to travel about the city.

The many museums, including the world renowned Te Papa, have giving Wellington a deserved reputation as the cultural centre of New Zealand. Those who travel here will not be short of things to do whether eating tasty food, checking out fashion designers, visiting one of the Museums or even parliament, the activities in the city will keep you entertained.
