Located in its own space on a working alpaca farm, the cottage is perched looking out towards the Akaroa harbour entrance and the Pacific Ocean beyond. nce the summer home of renowned writer Armistead Maupin, the property was acquired by his sister, Jane Maupin Yates, and her late husband Joe, in 1993. Lovingly restored in 1996, the enchanting 1860s colonial homestead provides guest accommodations in the splendidly appointed, self-contained cottage, Te Rangi. |
