Book Online
Booking your New Zealand Ferry online is a simple three-step process.
First, you select your dates and sailings and complete our simple ferry booking form. Next, you submit your credit card details via our secure server. Lastly, after we have checked that the applicable fare and sailing are available; we either process your payment and send you a confirmation email with vouchers and check-in instructions, or inform you that your requested sailing is not available.
Book By Phone
Use our online ferry booking form to determine your preferred sailing time, then call our New Zealand ferry team to check availability and book the required sailing. Our office is open from Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm New Zealand time (GMT+12-13). Check the blue New Zealand information section to the right to find out the time in New Zealand right now.

- Ferry bookings are not confirmed until you have received our email confirmation.
- Secure payments are not processed (your credit card is not charged) until your booking is confirmed.
- Providing the same fare type is available, your reservation can be changed once for no additional charge. Any subsequent changes made with Experience New Zealand Travel, will incur an amendment fee of NZ$15.00 per change.
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to your check-in time will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Unfortunately cancellations made within the 24 hour period prior to your check-in time are 100% non-refundable.

Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferry

The Bluebridge experience offers warm, friendly hospitality amidst stunning New Zealand scenery. Bluebridge currently operates sister ships, the Santa Regina and the Monte Stello, which are well known as stable and comfortable vessels due to their hull design and stabilisers. Bluebridge sails every day between Picton and Wellington, with a journey time of three hours and 20 minutes.
Bluebridge has modern terminals in the heart of Wellington and Picton and its service offers a relaxed journey with a maximum of 370 people and around 150 cars per sailing. Bluebridge offers free big-screen movies and has lounge, cafe and bar areas offering light meals and snacks.
Check-in is 60 minutes prior to departure for both foot passengers and vehicles.

Interislander Ferry

The Interislander cruises from New Zealand's capital city, Wellington, in the North Island, across to Picton, which is nestled in the heart of the Marlborough Sounds in the South Island. The cruising time for The Interislander ferries – Arahura, Aratere and Kaitaki – is three hours.
Check-in is 45 minutes prior to departure for foot passengers and 60 minutes prior to departure for vehicles.
