Our itinerary planning service is suited to those people who are looking for a comprehensive New Zealand itinerary planning service with no compromises. Our experienced New Zealand travel specialists will work with you to design a seamless itinerary tailored to your needs. This includes:
- Reviewing the requirements you have outlined in your itinerary enquiry form.
- Calling you to discuss your forthcoming New Zealand vacation.
- Providing you with unlimited travel consultation.
- Creating a full itinerary proposal with a choice of personally selected accommodation, activity and transport options.
- Booking your selection of accommodation, activities and transport.
- Providing you with a soft and hard copy of your full itinerary including complete driving instructions, check-in and check-out times and vouchers.
- Sightseeing notes for your driving route.
- Any applicable touring maps for the areas you will visit.
- A full list of recommended activities and restaurants for each region that you visit.
- Comprehensive local support while you are travelling in New Zealand.
- Free delivery of your documents to your arrival point in New Zealand (by courier).
Next steps
Once we have learned about you, your travel party, and what you want from your trip to New Zealand, we create a unique itinerary for you by recommending accommodation, activities and transport which match your requirements. We can communicate via email or we can call you to 'meet you' and discuss your forthcoming holiday. Once we have done this we will propose an itinerary which gives you the opportunity to see the parts of New Zealand that hold the most interest for you, at a pace that will suit your preferred traveling style. Of course, this will be a proposal, if necessary it can be redrafted.
Once we have agreed on the appropriate itinerary, we will make all the necessary arrangements and provide you with comprehensive travel documents for your vacation, as detailed above.
Don't need the full-service option?
If you know where you'd like to go (you may have used the Experience New Zealand accommodation or activity guides to help you decide), just let us know the accommodations and activities you would like to book, and we will arrange the bookings, make all the necessary payments on your behalf and provide you with a summary of the bookings, driving instructions, check-in times etc. Only the appropriate miscellaneous fees are charged. But please appreciate that you will receive only limited planning support.
How much does it cost?
A flat fee of NZ$40 per day of your itinerary, for the first 20 days of any itinerary, plus any other applicable miscellaneous fees outlined at the bottom of this page. For itineraries longer than 20 days, each additional day incurs an itinerary planning fee of just NZ$20.
Miscellaneous fees
- Domestic flight booking fee
Either NZ$20 per person per flight or if you are a family or a group traveling on the same flight, NZ$50 per booking. Generally we are able to obtain cheaper domestic flights than those sold outside of New Zealand. - Coach booking fee
NZ$20 per booking. - Amendment fee
NZ$20 per amendment when a confirmed booking is changed.
Cancellation fee
- If you cancel your entire trip for any reason, our cancellation policy will apply.
- Itinerary planning and miscellaneous fees are non-refundable.
