The all-inclusive Option offers the ultimate peace of mind guarantee. The package includes a $0 excess, table and chairs, baby/booster seat and snow chains (all as required). One-way hires are free of charge should this option be taken. For the complete worry-free motorhome holiday we highly recommend this option.

Rates, conditions and insurance
Daily hire rates are:
- calculated per day
- quoted in New Zealand dollars
- subject to change without notice
- subject to a minimum rental period of seven days (5-7 day rentals have separate conditions, please click here for more details)

Inclusions
- Unlimited kilometres
- Vehicle insurance (excess applies)
- Extra driver fees
- Kitchen kit (eg plates, bowls, cups, pots)
- Personal kit (eg pillows, pillow cases, towels and bedding)
- 24-hour nationwide roadservice helpline
- Travel wallet including road maps and travel information
- Welcome pack (includes an assortment of things useful for travelling in a motorhome)
- Complimentary transfers on arrival from airport or airport accommodation to the Pacific Horizon Auckland, Wellington, Picton or Christchurch depots
- Diesel tax
- One-way fees (included if the hire is longer than 14 days, otherwise see one-way fees below)
- Comprehensive road atlas supplied on loan
- LPG (cooking gas)
Insurance
All vehicles are insured for the damage to the vehicle or to the property of a third party. For motorhomes the hirer is responsible for the first NZ$5000 ('the excess') of the cost of the damage to the third party property or rented vehicle. This excess can be reduced by the purchase of Excess reduction option 1 or 2.
Additional costs
There are three types of additional costs: additional hire items, fuel, and one-way fees.
Additional hire items
It is strongly advised that you pre-book all of the following items for hire. Experience NZ Travel requires that you pay the cost for these items directly to Pacific Horizon on collection of your vehicle.
- Picnic table - NZ$25 per rental.
- Picnic chairs - NZ$15 per rental.
- Microwave - NZ$35 per hire (Eclipse 2 only).
- Child/booster seat - NZ$30 per seat, per rental. In New Zealand all children under five years must travel in a child restraint.
- Cot - NZ$55 per rental.
- Bike rack (holds two bikes) - NZ$55 per hire.
- Mobile phone - NZ$55 per hire (includes a NZ$20 phone card).
- Colour TV - NZ$60 per hire.
- Outdoor gas BBQ - NZ$45 per hire.
- Snow chains - NZ$40 per hire.
Fuel
All motorhomes come ready for hire with a full tank of diesel, and a full tank of LPG. The diesel tax recovery fee is built in to Pacific Horizon's daily hire rates.
One-way fees
If the hire is shorter than 14 days, a one-way fee of NZ$240 applies for hires during October-March.
