Daily hire rates are:

• Subject to a minimum rental period of seven days or 14 days if the hire is between 20 December and 2 January annually or a one way hire between Christchurch and Auckland and vice versa.

Inclusions

• Free transfers on vehicle pick up from the airport or city location to our conveniently located depots
• Unlimited kilometres
• 15% GST
• Standard United Campervans Vehicle Insurance with NZ$5000 Bond/Excess
• Diesel tax
• Vehicle living equipment
• Extra driver fees
• Cleaning fees and pre-departure vehicle preparation
• Supermarket discount card usable at almost 100 supermarkets throughout New Zealand
• Road maps, camping park directories and other tourist information
• A freephone helpline providing 24-hour roadside assistance throughout New Zealand

Save money with the 'all inclusive rate'

In addition to the actual hire of the motorhome itself, there are several other important items that you will need to purchase that are not included in the daily hire rates. By purchasing the 'All inclusive rates' you will save money on some of these items.   The 'all inclusive rate' package presently costs NZ$32 per day and is payable in addition to the daily hire rate.   Inclusions Comprehensive United Campervans Vehicle Insurance (CDW Option 2) cover with no bond/excess Picnic table and chairs (one chair for each person travelling) Baby seat and/or child booster seat (if required) Multiple windscreen replacement Kiwi Camps VIP Membership Card with a two-year validity providing 10% discount at any Kiwi Camping Park in New Zealand, or Top Tourist Park in Australia

Insurance

All United Campervans Standard Rates include Standard United Campervans Vehicle Insurance. This provides cover for:

• Damage to the United Campervans vehicle or third party property.
• Public Liability up to NZ$10 million.
• Bond/excess of NZ$5,000 must be paid on collection of the vehicle. The hirer will be responsible for the first NZ$5000 of any costs incurred due to damage to the hired vehicle or third party property.
• The hirer will be fully liable for the repair or replacement of damaged windscreens.
• Bond/excess may be paid by cash or credit card. If a credit card is used as the method of payment the amount will not be debited from the account but an authorisation will be obtained from the credit card company and held on file by United until the vehicle is returned without damage to the United vehicle or third party property and within the terms of the rental agreement. The client will be required to have sufficient credit with the credit card company to enable United to secure the authorisation on pick up. United Campervans will not be responsible for any losses incurred due to interest charges or currency fluctuations.
• The bond is fully refundable on return of the vehicle to the agreed drop-off depot, on the due drop-off date, in a clean undamaged condition, with no damage incurred to third party property, and with a full tank of fuel and empty toilet cassette.

Additional Costs

There are three types of additional costs: additional hire items, fuel, one-way fees, and pick-up/drop-off fees.
 

Additional Hire Items

It is strongly advised that you pre-book all of the following items for hire. Experience NZ Travel requires that you pay the cost for these items directly to United Campervans on collection of your vehicle.
 

• Picnic table and two chairs - NZ$25 per rental.
• Additional picnic chair - NZ$5 per rental.
• Snow chair are free.
• Bicycle rack - NZ$50 per hire.
• Bicycles - NZ$6 - NZ$125 per hire.
• Bicycle child seat - NZ$25 per hire.
• Mobile phone SIM card - NZ$20 (includes a NZ$20 call credit).
• GPS - NZ$5 per day. (maximum NZ$200.00 per hire - NZ$100.00 excess applies to the GPS including accessories)

Fuel

United Campervans diesel fuel tax is included already included in the rates.

One-Way Fees

United Campervans have no one way fees.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off Fees
